ABOUT US
Patrick grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated from Salem High School. He then later joined the US Army and served for 9 years as an Artilleryman (13B) and deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. He then moved back home with his wife and 2 girls and decided it was time to pursue his passion in automotive detailing. He then decided to launch ShineVA Mobile Detailing. His passion, drive, attention to detail and professionalism is what keeps him going above and beyond with his work and his clients.

Patrick has also attended Esoteric Detail's, Elite Detailer Academy in New Albany, Ohio and was trained by the legendary master detailer, Todd Cooperider. During the course, he refined his craft of paint correction and fine auto detailing. He also attended Esoteric Detail's, Ceramic Coating Course where he learned how to properly prep, apply and maintain a ceramic coated vehicle.

He is also a member of the International Detailing Association (IDA) and is both a Certified Detailer (CD) and Skills Validated (SV). Being Certified Detailer - Skills Validated of the IDA, he demonstrates the basic mastery of the knowledge and applied skills needed by the detailing professional.

CERAMIC COATING
Want the ultimate protection for you vehicle? Our ceramic coatings vary from 2 years to +5 years! Most ceramic coatings are intended to protect the paint, but there are also options for wheels, glass, plastic, vinyl, leather, fabric, etc. Ceramic coatings will provide several years of life, while offering excellent protection against UV damage, hard water spots, bird bombs, and other typical risks associated with daily driving. Ceramic coatings tend to be much more chemical resistant than traditional forms of protection and will stand up to environmental hazards much better in the long run.

PAINT CORRECTION
Polishing is the step in the detailing process that yields the most dramatic difference in your paint's appearance. The objective of polishing is to remove imperfections in the clear coat that cause the paint to look dull. Surface imperfections can include swirls, scratches, water spots, etchings, industrial fallout, oxidation, etc. When these imperfections are removed, you will reveal the true potential of your vehicle's paint.

INTERIOR DETAIL
Having a shiny and glossy vehicle doesn't mean our services stop there! Your interior receives the same treatment as well! You spend the most time inside your vehicle and your passengers often take notice of how clean, or not so clean, your interior is. It's important to protect your interior trim and leather from harmful UV rays that can potentially dry out and fade your interior. Keep your interior looking like new so you enjoy getting into your vehicle each and every time.
